What Causes Bitter Taste In Mouth After Having Food?
Sir I have to ask the question regarding that for the last one year i have been feeling some salted water like bitter in the mouth as soon as i finished my meal i took many medicine even ayurvedic treatment but still it is continue Kindly advice me what I have to do at this stage.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain bitter taste in mouth along with salty water like appearing in mouth after meals is commonly due to Acid Reflux as during the meals when food is taken there is increased acid production in stomach and the reflux of acid might cause the bitter taste due to taste of acid.. Nothing to worry, consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and in case of acid reflux he can advise you to take Proton Pump Inhibitors like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole. Antacids like Milk of Magnesia should also be taken half an hour before meals. Drink plenty of water. Take small meals every 2 to 3 hours and avoid large and heavy meals. If you are overweight try to shed off some weight.
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
