What Causes Black Specks In Urine And Stool?

Hi, i notice black specks on the toilet paper after i wipe. I also noticed it in my stool when i took a stool sample to the dr but haven t heard any results yet. I am really worried and i sometimes notice red blood on the toilet paper. I am 23 years old, any idea of what this could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Black specks in stool usually indicate underlying various conditions as fissure, hemorrhoid or else.

Urine bleeding will usually show up with red urine rather than black specks in the urine.

Can discuss further with the report of the lab once it is available on hand.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
