Have seen black specks in pee off and on for a month. I only see on or two pepper size specks when this happens. It does not occur often, like once every week and a half to every other week. I have no pain, and drink a lot of tea and recently started drinking more water so pee color is normally light light yellow. I have tons of energy as well. I noticed the specks upon adding apple cider vinegar to my daily regimen a month back. Today I noticed one and got it out of the water and it was not hard but soft and broke down into powder. I am really concerned and nervous. I just realized I gave the incorrect email. You can reply to me at careny.gra YYYY@YYYY
Possibly, specks would be your degraded tissues or kidney stone precipitate. Usually, drinking adequate water and keeping hydrated will keep the urinary pathway dirt and debris free.
Since, you don't have any associated symptoms like pain and discomfort and change in urine color et cetera, no need to worry at this point. For safety issues, kindly do a urine routine to rule out any abnormality.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
