What Causes Black Spot Under Toenail?

Hi, About a week back I saw a small Black Spot Under my Toe Nail. It seems to be about 2 mm. It Does not start from the Proximal Nail fold but is infact close to the Lateral Nail Fold. I have an appointment in a week from Now. Is this something I should be worried about. Ok I am around 33 Years Old and of Brown Color.

Hi

Sudden development of a blackish spot could be suggestive of a hemorrhagic spot or bruise .
It could have occurred secondary to nail trauma.
Take oral vitamin c supplements.
It should resolve soon .
