What Causes Black Stool After An Injury When Suffering From Colitis?

I had a colitis and wear a bag I ve also had loss of the use of 1/2 of each kidney. Last week I lost my balance and fell against the bathroom sink rather hard. the right side of my back is bruised and hurts very mush around the waist area and my stool is very black?

Black stool is a sign of upper intestinal bleeding and you shipload be evaluated by a doctor t.o investigate whether you have bled or are bleeding. They usually do a blood and stool test. Upper bleeding could be the result of and ulcer and could be related to NSAID meds. Given your complex past history a doctors evaluation is strongly recommended
