What Causes Black Stool While On Multivitamins And Iron Pills Post Hysterectomy?

Hello I have my total hysterectomy done last month, I am taking multi vitamins tablets, and iron tablets, since after my hysterectomy my stool is black and still the color is same, is this normal and also will it continue the same?? Other than that I have no problem at all nor constipation...??

Black colored stool is quite common while on iron supplements. The cooler is due to iron metabolic product and nothing to worry in it. It will subside once you stop the iron supplements.
