What Causes Black Strings In Stool?
Yesterday my son had black strings in his stools. He had a lot of gas the day before, and when he did go he was struggling and then finally went with a normal color and then said he had to go. That time it was green and had black strings in it. What could be causing that to happen?

I really appreciate your concern, it is all due to the diet taken and it may not be due to any disease if he does not have any related symptoms. There is nothing to worry if the fecal material being observed it may give you different ideas and to clear the doubt stool need to be sent for the lab test and that is the best option without this nothing can be said what it is.
