What Causes Black Thread After Passing Bowel Movement?

For the past three days I've noticed a single black thread on the toilet paper after a bowel movement. I haven't looked closely at the bm itself but this has happened about 3 times. Up close it looks like thread, could this be a parasite? If so what kind? I've searched the internet and found nothing.
