What Causes Blackish Discharge After Using Cymbalta?

I am a 70 year old woman and have been taking Cymbalta approx. 6 to 7 years. I have taken some sort of prescribed meds for depression for more years that I an remember. Since taking cymbalta I have had a black discharge and I felt that since I had had a partial hyster.(uterus only) maybe that was the reason for it. But I have stopped taking cymbalta for the past 3 weeks and the discharge has stopped. Now, I feel like I have pains in every part of my body(arthritis maybe). My Dr. wants me to go back on the cymbalta util my appt. with the Womens Clinic later the month. I don t want to go back on them, but I am not sure which is best for me to do. Please advise a tired ole woman.
