Hi my name is Maribel and a little less than a month ago my bf spotted something black on my back and we thought it was a pimple or blackhead of some sort. So my bf decided to pop it but it wouldn t come out. It was under my skin and he grabbed some tweezers and tried taking it out, it didn t hurt but it was bugging me not knowing what it is. So he finally got it out and it looked like a small pebble. We didn t know what it was so we left it at that. Just today my bf noticed (again) that there was a black thing on my back. In the same spot as the one he took out and it seems like it s growing again? Help!
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history, you are having a sebaceous cyst. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Only curative treatment is excision under local anesthesia done by a dermato-surgeon.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harshit Bhachech
