What Causes Bleeding After Having Sex When Trying To Conceive?

I have been married for 12 years and we have 1 child who is 4. My husband and I have been having sex this week and I am bleeding after we are finished. The bleeding seems to become worse the more we have sex. We are trying to get pregnant so I have been off birth control since Oct 2011 and I just finished my period last week. This is the first time this has happend. Could you help me to understand why?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be because of dryness you are getting injured during sex. Start sex when you are adequately wet or use a lubricant. Second, get yourself a Pap smear test done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
