Hello doctor,Me n my gf had a sex 4-5 times in 2 days and after the 36 hrs of 1st sex she took unwanted 72 to prevent pragnancy. After 7 days of that she started bleeding jst lik her normal mc. We are actually not getting the reason behind this and what is this. Is this her mc ? And is there any chance of getting pragnant ?
Hello dear I understand your concern Bleeding is due to unwanted 72. It contain high progesterone. So it is breakthrough bleeding due to progesterone withdrawal effect. It will disappear in next 2-3 days. Next period can be delayed/earlier with excessive bleeding due to hormonal imbalance cause by the pill. But if period will delay by the more than 2 week form the expected period date then go for urine pregnancy test and or blood HCG to confirm the pregnancy. Meanwhile avoid stress, take healthy diet, proper rest, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise. Hope this may help you
