What Causes Bleeding After Intercourse?

i was diagnosed with group b dtrep, treated it with antibiotic, just had intercourse for first time after- had pain and some very light bleeding. I am 49 year old, and have had hysterectomy, so no reason for ant bleeding to happen for good reason . what happened?
