What Causes Bleeding After Intercourse?

Me and my boyfriend has unprotected sex but he did not come inside me. When we were done I went to use the bathroom and after I finished using the restroom it still felt like I had to pee after. Than as I wiped I had lite blood on the tissue. Please let me know what this means.

Hello, thanks for writing in to HCM.
Bleeding after sex can be alarming. But in young females it most commonly is due to vaginal friction/ injury.
Other benign causes are inflammation/infection of the vagina/cervix, sex around your period dates, hormonal changes etc.
I believe its nothing to worry, but if it happens repeatedly or the quantity increases, you must visit a gynecologist to get a physical examination.
