What Causes Bleeding After Periods?
I had periods from 28th May-1st June( 5days). It got over on 1st june after 5 days as usual. I had sex on 2nd June. My concerns : 1) I bleeded after the intercourse (although it wasn t too much). 2) I took an Ipill the next morning (because we had unprotected sex) And 3 days later I started bleeding again. The discharge was pinkish-red in the beginning but brown later. It is not heavy bleeding.

When visual menstrual discharge has stopped, still some minor trickle does take place in the uterus. When you have sex on the next day of stoppage of bleeding, the uterus gets disturbed and some bleeding is seen. It needs no attention.
I-pill like post coital emergency contraceptive pills have some after effects:
1. Few days after the consumption of the pill, some amount of bleeding does show. This is normal and does not require any treatment. You need not worry about it. The bleeding stops of its own within a couple of days. You had this type of bleeding.
2. Menses following the pill may get delayed by few days to about a week or so. No action is required.
