Hello,

You had implant for birth control for 2 years. After removal you started bleeding for three days. Again after two weeks you have started bleeding again. After removal of implant you get off hormonal birth control hormones, hence you get withdrawal bleeding. Your bleeding pattern may change after implant removal. You may have longer or shorter bleeding during your period. This usually improves with time but may take 6 – 9 months to set. You are planning for a baby, it takes between 14 days to one month for fertility to return after Implant removal but may vary from individual to individual.

After this withdrawal bleeding, your natural menstrual period should slowly come back by itself. If not get clinically examined by an OBGYN, you may need hormone therapy. Take food rich in calcium, iron and protein. Take fruits, veggies and whole cereals. Reduce stress, avoid doing heavy work for a couple of days, give yourself adequate rest. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
