I am at work and i experienced and random gush of blood, similar to a period, however there was much more blood. I already had my period a week ago. This is not similar to the spotting i have had in the past. I am concerned and would like to know what to do.
Sudden gush of blood may be due to quite a few conditions. We need to rule out uterine AV malformations or endometrial polyp and endometrial hyperplasia which cause these symptoms. Hence, get a gynecologist consultation for a pelvic scan and then process further.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
