I had sex, with a fairly endowed guy, but now I am bleeding 48 hours later, and enough to use a pad. I just finished my period about two weeks ago, so it's defineltey not normal. This is not a reoccurring thing. I am a little bit worried, we are both clean too.
Hi , How are you doing ? Am putting forward a list of possibilities-- 1. Cervical erosion - Can occur due to infection at the mouth of cervix. These will be raw areas which will bleed even at mild touch. Treatment is to get evaluated by gynecologist & treated with antibiotics & vagina pessaries. 2. Cervical polyp - chances are low, but these small root like growths can cause intermittent bleeding. 3. This could also be a polyp from the uterine cavity, causing bleeding independently, usually in between periods. This has no relation to sex, it may be coincidental bleeding . Any way , you will need to control bleeding with hormone pills under the supervision of gynecologist. Have evaluation & scan & further management based on finding. I hope I have cleared the queries, do write back if any more queries All the best Dr.Balakrishnan
