What Causes Bleeding After Taking I Pill?

Hi doctor m really very tensed.. I am 25 years old not very sexually active.. Infact I just lost my virginity. I had unprotected sex with my bf and took I pill .. After 6 days I am bleeding and having some abdominal pain and discomfort .. Is it normal???

Hello,

Bleeding is common after taking i-pill or any emergency contraceptive pills. It’s a kind of brown colored bleed and it is due to hormonal actions of the pill. It’s not a dangerous thing and settle by it own and your cycles continue as usual. No definite treatment is required either.
