Hallow Dear, Next Choice pill contains a Progestational preparation named Levonorgestrel. After consuming the pill, some withdrawal bleeding after a couple of days is known. Nothing to worry about it. Further more, Levonorgestrel may delay the period up to one week or so. If you had taken the pills within 72 hours of the unprotected sexual intercourse, you need not be worried about this delay also. Wait for few days; you will get the period. However, you may opt for pregnancy test on overnight first morning urine sample one week after the missed period. Alternatively you can go for Beta hCG test which is reliable even few days before missed period. This will relieve you of the stress.
