What Causes Bleeding And Clots Even 2 Weeks After Abortion?

Hey, I had an abortion on the 20th of June this year and I am still clotting. The bleeding stopped about 2 weeks after the abortion and started back up recently. It is getting heavier and heavier. It is not a period as I have had the contraceptive injection.. Just wondering whether there is anything I can do to stop the bleeding and whether I should be seeing my GP to sort it out.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.It looks like abortion has happened successfully, but have you got confirmed with a scan that its complete abortion ? which is needed to be sure.
2.How ever similar episodes are seen after abortion, it takes some time to get in to normal periods.
3.If bleed is excess and associated with pain.
4.Visit your doctor and get an scan done, and hormonal treatment for further evaluation.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
