What Causes Bleeding And Skin Out In Vagina After Hair Removal?

Few days back i used dettol as (lubricant/ for cleaning), while masturbating.
day before yesterday while trimming my pubic hair, trimmer cut/scratched near base area and blood came out. i used dettol to clean and used antiseptic cream.
today i noticed that upper region of skin is shedding skin ( below the cap region) dead skin. i took out dead skin partially some regions it is in process of shedding skin.
i completely freaked out. i wanted to know why is this happening. is it because of dettol high concentration of dettol made very soft region of skin dead or may be the cut, which might have cut some blood flowing vessel that may be supplying blood/ responsible for skin.
Kindly advise. awaiting early reply.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

The bleeding and skin out that you have can be related to a vigorous hair removal. Doing a cold compress and applying local antiseptic cream can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
