Ovulation bleeding which occurs usually in the midcycle does not last for such a long period and also is not such a heavy bleeding.
Please get your ultrasonography performed to find any evidence of any endometrial polyp or uterine fibroid which are known to cause such bleeding. If either of it is found, it will require biopsy and surgical intervention.
If no pathology is found, it could be hormonal imbalance. Some progestational medicine like Deviry will arrest the bleeding. Then after discontinuing the medicine, you will get withdrawal bleeding again within 4-7 days, which will be moderate. If you do not want this withdrawal bleeding, you may taper the medicine and continue at a lower dose for 21 days. After that, you would get withdrawal bleeding which will be quite moderate. These medicines should be taken only with your Gynaecologist's advice.
Please report to your Gynaecologist.
