What Causes Bleeding During Bowel Movement?

Hi I m a 27 year old female. I work out daily by running and light lifting. I eat healthy and my bowel movements are regular. But I started seeing blood each time I d have a bowel movement and thought I tore something but it would heal on its own. Now there s a bump there and it s painful. Thought it was hemorrhoids so I ve been using ointment but it didn t seem to be working. It s been almost a month now, could it be a rectal hernia? Please help!
