Hello, Bleeding after taking depo shots is quite common. Depo causes irregular bleeding, spotting or heavy bleeding. As the body adjusts with the hormonal change it becomes normal. Bleeding during intercourse is indicative of dry vagina and lack of lubrication. Friction during sex due to not enough lubrication or foreplay may cause tearing and bleeding during or after sex. Bleeding during sex may also occur due to noncancerous polyps or fibroids that involve the lining of the uterus, also called the endometrium. Avoid aggressive sex. Use vaginal lubricants during sex. Bleeding during and after intercourse can also be due to sexually transmitted diseases. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist and get STD tests done to be on the safer side.
