What Causes Bleeding During Intercourse?

Hi, I was wondering what could possibly be wrong with me, the last 2 times I ve had intercourse I had bleeding but no pain along with it and it would stop as soon as we were done it wasn t a large amount but enough to be quite noticeable. I ve called to make an appointment with my doctor but I have to wait a few days before I can be seen and I m just worried what it might be.

Hello,

I think you should get examined further. A colposcopy needs to be done to check the vaginal mucosa and column conditions. Also, a pap smear should be done.

The causes of casual vaginal spotting or bleeding may vary from simple atrophy of vagina to cellular dysplasia of column.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
