What Causes Bleeding During Micturition?

For 2 weeks I had blood in my urine with no pain at all. I was having blood clots in my urine too. I saw a urologist who did cystocopy, exploratoty surgery to check mu urether, and even kidney angiogram and a CT. Everything looked fine to the point they told me urine was going to clear on itself. It actually did, now my urine clear. 5 days after that I noticed blood in my urine. What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite a good news that all the possible tests come out clear because there is no risk of cancer or stones. If you are taking blood-thinning medications it may be the cause of it. Please talk to your cardiologist if you are taking blood thinning medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
