What Causes Bleeding During Pregnancy?

hi im 23 years old and have recieved spotting of bleeding and sometimes it can be heavy for a short period of time. I have been to the hospital about this and had an ultasound and then said everything looks fine but if any of the symptoms become worse then to go back. However i am thinking of going swimming, but due to the bleeding am wondering if it is safe to wear a tampon whilst pregnant. I am roughly 5-7 weeks pregnant.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the spotting or bleeding during pregnancy can be due to hormonal abnormalities, low lying placenta or bleeding from cervix. As all the reports are normal the bleeding might be from cervix.Avoid physical strain and intercourse. It is better if the swimming is also avoided.Take healthy nutritional diet.Dont worry. There are many cases which present like this has progressed to term and had good outcome.
