Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Praveen G's Response
Hello, Welcome to HCM,
After going through your history I can understand your concern. Bleeding during intercourse is a very common complaint. In the vast majority of individuals the bleeding is nothing serious and will tend to go away on its own.
Most cases of vaginal bleeding after intercourse may be due to the time near the period, bleeding from the uterus and any trauma to the walls of the vagina.
Most of the time this occurs when penetration takes place without enough lubrication. This type of bleeding is usually painful.
I think you should take an appointment with your Gynecologist for further evaluation of this bleeding. Your doctor will likely be able to tell you the source of bleeding and can suggest the treatment. Thank you.
