What Causes Bleeding During Sex?
Hi I was due my period this week, having been having unprotected sex for the past month with my husband and both after having sex last night and on Friday I noticed I had started bleeding. Once sex was finished I did not bleed again and would like to know whether this could be a sign of pregnancy.

Any lesion over the cervix or polyp can cause such bleeding during intercourse. Get a pelvic examination and a pap smear done. Treat the cause of bleeding. Sometimes cauterisation might be required.
