What Causes Bleeding During The Eighth Week Of Pregnancy?
Hello Doctor, My wife is 8 weeks pregnant. Now she take journey by bus. Yesterday she is bleeding. today she take bad rest then little bleeding. Already we talk to doctor she advise me 1. Prolution depot 250mg (ing ) 1 week 1 ing 2. Microgest 200mg (cap) Every night 1 capsule Is it ok ? any advise

I understand your concern.
In first 12 weeks fetal placenta is under formation & so is weak. The jerks of bus travel must have disturbed pregnancy in your wife's case.-which also caused slight bleeding.
Your doctor has rightly started with Inj. proluton depot 250 mg weekly along with Cap Microgest 200 mg daily once. The medicines are usually continued till 3.5 months of pregnancy.
I would advise Tab Folic acid 5 mg in addition.
tab. Duadilan one in case she has cramps in abdomen
She should take comparative rest, avoid exertion,jerks,lifting weight.
