What Causes Bleeding During Urination In Pregnancy?
hi, i am 6 months pregnant my second child, during my 1st delivery i had piles, but after that it was fine, today i have seen some bleeding during passing urine, i am not sure whether that is from my vagina or due to piles. But the blood is not thick as used to be in period, it is a plain running blood. Please suggest what needs to be done.?
General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. Bleeding while passing urinein pregnancy can be from various causes- -From piles as you have doubt- here this bleeding is associated with constipation/ hard stools. - flowing blood through urinary tract is associated by pain/burning in urine/fever or urinary stones havine colocy pain/ pain above pubic bone. - Pain from uterus- can be pain less in some conditions/ it may also be due to conditions like vaginal polyps.- This needs to be internqally examined by a gynecologist. Bleeding while urination needs to be physically examined & evaluated by pathological tests advised by the consulting doctor.& treated accordingly. Till then, you should take rest & visit your treating gynecologist doctor as early as possible. Thanks
