What Causes Bleeding From Ears After Changing Earrings?
I am 10 years old. I also have pierced ears. When i change my earrings, sometimes they bleed, and last time i changed them they oozed light yellow liquid. Igot them pierced last july (more then 4 months ago). Why is this happening? Am i allergic to a type of earring?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bleeding while changing ear rings which seems to be due to persistence of infection. It could be due to improperly sterilized indtruments used while piercing. Need not to worry. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after thorough examination. You should avoid using artificial earrings for few days. Apply topical antibacterial ointment baciteacin over them. You should take proper course of antibiotics such as Levofloxacin. You should maintain complete hygiene. Avoid touching or pricking ear.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
