What Causes Bleeding From Mouth?

hello there. I m here to ask for help. my daughter has been acting weird. she doesn t want to eat or drink anything but water. she will always cry in the night, and she will want me to hold her to sleep, but today she was sleeping, and all of a sudden. she was crying nonstop and I looked at her mouth it was bleeding. so I call my sister to get me orajel and squeeze alittle to my index finger n massage the medicine on her top gums and I took out my index it was bleeding a lot. I got scare and I want to know what s going on.but she went to sleep already. but what is causing it

You should open her mouth and examine it under a strong flashlight to figure out what caused the bleeding. It could be dental, gums, tongue, floor of the mouth, tonsils, roof of the mouth. There could be a cut, ulcers, or other problems. Look for redness, swelling and oozing from the site.

If nothing is found, it might be best to go to an oral surgeon to discover the cause of the bleeding. You could do it after she is awake and about.
