A tiny bit of blood has been leaking from my left palm for about a month now. I ve ignored it because it was just about a quarter inch line and it wasn t all the time. Lately, I ve been seeing it every day. It started happening in other parts of my palm and now (palm up) on my ring finger. Instead of forming a small line, they re forming small patches now. I have been prescribed Welbutrin 150mg and have been taking it for about 3 months now. Is it the medication???
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history of bleeding from palm, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an NSAID (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
