What Causes Bleeding From Vagina After Having Intercourse?
This is embarrassing but since the last time I had sexual intercourse every time I wipe my vaginal area after going to the bathroom there s blood on the toilet tissue. What could this be a sign of? Is this something I should go to a gynecologist to get checked out?

Hello
Bleeding during and after intercourse need proper medical attention.It may be due to many causes like vigorous sex,cervical,vaginal,uterine problem etc.
You may need proper local clinical examination.It is important to observe for tear etc.
Ultrasound of pelvis is also helpful.
Pap smear can also be done after evaluation.
Treatment depend upon findings.You should definitely consult gynecologist.
