Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 86 year old mother is bleeding vaginally as though she is having a period. Should we go to the emergency room or wait until office hours to go to the doctor. She is on cumadin. Yesterday showed her blood was a little thin. She was advised not to take her dosage last night.
It depends on how much bleeding she is having. If it is a small amount then she can wait and seeing her doctor in the next few days. If bleeding is heavy she should go to Emergency righyt away.
