What Causes Bleeding In Child After Insertion Of Tubes In Ears?

My one year old daughter had tubes placed in her ears a month ago. We just had them checked last week and everything looked good. After the dr. Visit she had developed a very bad cold. This morning I awoke to find blood all over the pillow and her face and ear. She had a very bad night of cring and lack of sleep. Should I take her to er or wait for her dr. Office to open

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Because of cold and congestion, there is some movement of tubes placed in the ears as the middle ear is connected to the throat and nose through eustachian tube.
Better take her to the doctor after his office is open.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
