I have been under alot of stress lately. Actually for a year now. I have gained 40lbs in a year and my ear was bleeding yesterday, and i am extrememly tired and i also have blood in my nose regularly. not running, but dried up. what are your thoughts?
In one year, as you have gained 40 lb weight and you feel tired, it may be due to hypothyroidism. It is advisable to have thyroid function test. As you are suffering from recurrent nasal bleeding and also bleeding from ear, it would also be advisable to have some other blood test like Complete blood count with ESR to check if there is any infection, to check whether the platelet count is normal, and to check for your hemoglobin levels.
Also blood coagulation test is required to rule out blood coagulation disorder. If you suffered from ear bleeding after cleaning your ear, then don't try to self clean your ear. Also don't try to blow or cough forcefully which may lead to nasal bleeding. Use saline nasal drops which will help to moist your nasal skin and liquify the blood clots which will get drained on itself. It would be advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist Doctor for examination of your ear and nose to find out if there is any pathology.
