What Causes Bleeding In Nose During Hypertension?

Hi, my husband is 35 yrs old, with history of hypertension under maintenance, with high trigly and uric acid levels in the body, he had high blood pressure of 160/110. During that incident, he is completely asymptomatic, but after several minutes he had profuse nosebleeding on the left nostril, may i know the cause? and what specialist should we go? a neurologist?

Dear Friend, greetings.. From HCM.. I understand your concern .. Your husband has bleeding nose due to high BP.. High BP is dangerous and risky it need to be taken care .. He needs lifestyle changes .. Ask him to quit smoking and reduce alcohol if he has such habits ..ask him to reduce his weight .. He need s to walk at least half an hour to one hour a day .. Let him play some games ... Aerobic exercise s and practice yoga .. Pranayama helps .. Let him reduce his stress sleep at least 7/8 hour s a day .. Meet a cardiologist or a general physician and get the investigation s done yo rule out any secondary causes of high BP .. Thank you and do contact us for more information ..
