What Causes Bleeding In The Left Eye?
I have bleeding in my left eye, on the inside close to, but not right next to my cornea, in a half moon shape. I have not had any headaches, recently was outside in the yard and have not had an injury to my eye (of which I m aware). I wear soft contacts, have removed it when I noticed the bleeding and my vision does not seem to be impaired. I am not in any pain and have not had any for the past day or so.

Did you have any cough , constipation ? did you lift heavy weights? do you suffer from hypertension ? any of this can cause a hemorrhage in the conjunctiva . It will go away if it's own in two to three weeks . If you feel heaviness in eyes then please use artificial tear drops for few days.

But the pressure of the eye need to be checked . bleeding in the anterior chamber beneath the cornea usually suggests some trauma. it can also occur spontaneously in some bleeding disorders or glaucoma and even diabetes and hypertension. kindly consult an ophthalmologist. the bleeding should disappear of its own in a weeks time. sleep with your head end raised it helps in bleeding go away.
