What Causes Bleeding In The Stools Followed By Abdominal Cramps?

Hello there, I am a 25 year old woman. For the past couple of days I have seen blood everytime I poop, but it doesnt hurt when I poop. It does not feel as though I am straining or constipated. As well, I have been feeling very sleepy and get infrequent cramps in my lower abdomine.

Hello,

Bleeding and cramps may be due to colitis or bacillary or amoebic dysentery or internal hemorrhoids (non-painful) etc.

Get stool examination and rectal examination is done.

Avoid spicy food, gluten and lactose contain food.

Take high fibre diet and drink plenty of water.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
