Last week at work I had a bag of mortar dry mix dust extract dust into my face at close range. I was able to taste the dust as well as feel the gritty in my teeth instantly. A few minutes later my nose began to bleed and I spent the next couple hours puking and coughing up thick dry blood. A trip to immediate care clinic showed I was wheezing and very short of breath strep test and thrush test were done. Thrush came back positive and he noticed the rawness of my throat. Here it is a few days later and I have the worst upper respiratory infection ever with very sharp sudden pains in my left arm pit and chest. They were within minutes of each other and only when I deeply inhaled. There were 4 separate pains. My back (upper spine and chest feel like knives are digging into my body) should I be worried about pneumonia?
Hi, As You have inhaled the dust it could have reached your lungs and the possibility of pneumonia cannot be ruled out. suggest You meet the chest physician and get evaluated and treated before it could worsen up
