Hi, The causes can be: * Rupture of a small blood vessel that is superficial without much mucosal support in nose * Septal bleeding from front past as it can occur on nose pricking or even handling the nose * Hypertension although rare in an young person, but still has to be checked immediately and regularly for some days * Some angio that is disease related to blood vessel This can be diagnosed by consulting your ENT Surgeon for nasal endoscopy and any other investigations if required. If there is pronounced blood vessel then it needs to be cauterized. Watch for any further episodes and get the correct cause so that you can be cured.
