What Causes Blister In Gum After Tooth Extraction?
I had a tooth extracted three weeks ago. All was well until yesterday when I noticed some sort of blister forming in the hole. At first I was excited, as I thought I was almost done with the healing process. But today the blister has grown in size and protrudes out of the hole and past my gum line. What is this and should I be worried about it or is that normal?
Blister after 3 weeks of extraction rarely is associated with extraction complications. It can be a periodontal infection, in which case you can have metronidazole along with analgesic. This combination will help you relieve from discomfort.
