What Causes Blisters In Mouth?

I've been on Bactrim DS for about a week now, and am having some sores (blister like) starting to form around my mouth. I've also started to become light sensitive and noticed blisters (pretty large elsewhere). Is this from the medication or infection?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can very well understand your health concern..

As per your complain it seems that you have an allergic reaction to the antibiotic medication that you are taking and it is not infection but the side effect of medication..

You should immediately stop the intake of the medicine and consult your treating physician for the change of medication..

As of now you can take Allegra 60 mg twice daily to get relieved of the allergy symptoms..
Application of steroid based ointments on the blisters can be relieving..
Ice packs also help..

For blisters inside mouth benadryl gargles can provide relief..
Sucking ice pops can help..
Avoid spicy and sour foods..
Warm saline gargles can help..

Hope this information helps and thanks for writing to Healthcare Magic..

If you find the answer the please give a Five Star Review and click on found the answer helpful as a token of appreciation..
