What Causes Blisters On The Hands And Feet?

Hello, i have a irritated spot on my pinky finger on my left hand. Also i have the same kind of spot on my toe also left side. and starts out the same then turns into a blister in my bottom lip left side. This is the 3rd time this has happened. All 3 times in the exact same spots. Same finger, same toe and same place on lip. Any ideas what it could be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It seems to be drug reaction called fixed drug eruption ( FDE). I think you must have taken some drug ..sulfa,tetracycline or else. Remember... do not worry. Oral steroid in tapering dose, antihistaminics like levocetirizine and application of antibiotic cream would improve the condition. But,take precaution to avoid the triggering drug.

Hope I have answered you. Any other query..contact on HCM. Thanks..
