What Causes Bloated Feeling, Indigestion And Diarrhea?
hi.im katie im 20 years old. for the past 4 days i havent felt hungry, a much rather "full" feeling. maybe its a bloated feeling. for the first two days i didn't eat anything, i didn't even notice it til my mom mentioned something. the 3rd day i ate some baked chicken and corn. the following morning i discovered it didn't sit in my stomach. on this same 4th day, i tried something a little less solid, soup, that didn't last for an hour and it came up. and it followed by diharea. btw, today, is my 4th day and today im sick.
Some advices that I can give to you are: -Use over-the-counter options like Imodium (loperamide) for the diarrhea -Use medication that contains simethicone for the bloating. -Avoid spicy foods, fruits, alcohol, and caffeine until 48 hours after all symptoms have disappeared. -Avoid chewing gum that contains sorbitol. -Avoid milk for three days after symptoms disappear. -You can eat cheese or yogurt with probiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
