Hi, I am a 32 year old female, good general health but with a bloated tummy which I suspect is IBS as bread and pasta etc seem to make it worse. I dont smoke or drink and my diet is reasonably healthy. I am getting lower abdominal pain (mostly on the left above the pubic bone), stabbing from time to time throuhout the day and I have also noticed that my stools smell a bit like fish sometimes. In addition to this I sometimes get a jelly like mucas (clear/pale pink) when I pass a stool which incidentally vary from being very hard to loose. Any ideas? Thanks
