What Causes Bloating And Abdominal Pain Post Intercourse?
Hi, the last time ive had sex was 12 days ago. Ive been bloating the last four days and having unexplained abdominal cramping. I have done 2 tests and both negative to pregnancy. I have done a blood test however it says equivocal sitting at 11. Do you think my chances of being pregnant are high. Im very scared.
Hello, If you have had the intercourse about two weeks prior to the onset of your next date of the cycle, it means that you were in the fertile period and the chances of conception are high. Blood test for pregnancy usually reads as early as a week before the next period is due. Urine pregnancy test can read well only 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. In the current scenario, you should get the blood test repeated after a couple of days to see if the titres have risen and if so, follow it up with a trans-vaginal sonogram a week after the expected period. See a specialist for further management. Hope this helps.
